not sure how far away you will be, but HP 40 (Horse Pens 40) is amazing. It hosts one of the three triple crowns each year! Great sandstone! I would look into that if I were you.

What it's supposed to mean is that you represent yourself as an illiterate moron because you apparently can't spell "boulder" correctly but I was giving you the chance to say something like "oh, wow, I was so stoned that I completely missed that and I'm not really the dumbest mf you've ever met." I guess you decided to pass on that.

HaHa, very true, maybe some boulder problems, can cause bladder problems, tragic that could be. at least the point got across, rite? i figured something as insignificant could still be overlooked. and i did say it out loud...touche!

Ok so now i do feel like the dumbest mf you've never met but, whatever, i've made worse mistakes. at least no ones life was endangered. im sorry i offended you. my bad. i'll try harder next time. i just hope, that through all this unnecessary drama and degradation, you can still find it in your heart to accept me as a fellow climber and over look the obscurity that i have created, not only for you but, everyone else that has had a problem deciphering the blatant disregard for proper spelling...at least it looked kinda right. So in regards to the question at hand, do you know anywhere that i can boulder in AL, since my friend i am visiting does not climb, she does not know anywhere to go, and i will be climbing all by myself.

Damn, ease up there. Sorry but not familiar with any bouldering in Alabama. I've climbed at Sandrock but that's it and a looong time ago. But check out the routes database: http://www.rockclimbing.com/...labama&Submit=Go if you haven't already.

I'm going to do something very uncharacteristic, brosef, and give a mostly-straight answer. In 'bama, the place to be for bloudering is HP40. However, it looks like you'll be about three hours away from Horse Pens, so I can't help you much. You might want to look into TN as there is plenty of climbing there. Other quality bloudering near 'bama that I'm aware of is at Little Rock City in TN and Rocktown in GA. Both will be even farther away than HP40. I never venture as far west as where you'll be visiting, so I can't help you out with finding some bloudering that'll be closer. blouder.

Hey I live in Florence and the nearest area to boulder is Colbert Heights Mountain. Nothing too great and it will keep you busy for a few days. Check out mountainproject.com for a better guide to it.
