Remember when... We could hand out trophies to those that deserved them? We could hand out Poo to those that deserved them? We earned a ranking for our posts? We got extra credit for starting threads? We got extra extra credit if those threads amounted to something? There were no trolls, just a bunch of idiot n00bs? I was one of those idiot n00bs? (hey, who just said I still am?!) Community wasn't separated? It was all just "community"? RC.com had a cool logo? There was that "monkey" experiment? WELL, DO YA? Josh

For a minute there I was hoping this was some kinda sick nostalgia thread. Was gonna bust out a bunch of pics of old pro and lycra. Carry on.

Josh What was it about the logo that you liked best, BEC? It didn't remind you anything, did? Well, at least it wasn't as sterile as the current logo. Can we all agree to never mention the monkey again? I hated that thing. Remember when they made poo ratings visible, and there was a rash of retaliatory poo-flinging? It was better than a trip to the monkey house at the zoo. Hey, maybe that's the monkey tie-in!

You are #349 and just about to pass Redlegrangerone. Remember that guy? He was one of my favorite donnys. The original cheesetits. Before there was such a term. He was before his time.

Remember when the admin suggested having an rc.com meetup but then didn't organize it - so some rc'ers did, and we had a great time in JTree(April 2005, wasn't it?).
