Yes. That is the correct answer.

But I'm glad that Biner lovers her BD.

After using that pack then you can rave, maybe.

Just raining on you're parade?
Shut up and start a real topic

You mean "your" parade, retard. It's people like you who give Arizona a bad name--well, and John McCain, of course.

the part where the shoulder strap top goes into the pack, by your shoulder blade, is a little long. maybe it's just because i slouch. but, there's webbing there and not padding so Im thinking of doubling it over and sewing it to itself or right back into the back of the pack.

thanks for the tip, brent!

No problem. it's tough shit.

it's probably not because you slouch. That strap length should be of a length to put the hip belt in the right place and to put the load lifters at the right angle. shortening the straps will do that for you. You probably have the should straps tightened down quite a bit???

my new pack arrived today! whooo!

I go the BD predator, which is large with lots of pockets. While not an alpinists dream, it's perfect for me, i lead a lot of trips and need to carry lots of crap, and i like to have one pocket just for med forms, one pockets just for this....it's awesome.

will rave more once i get a chance to use it, i'm sure!
For the money it is a great pack. Hopefully your buckles don't squeak like ours do though. Its a little annoying sometimes on an otherwise peaceful hike.

Carries fine and the hipbelt is definitely beefier than a typical climbing pack, which i love since i've got bony girly hips. I think I'm going to have to stitch down the shoulder straps a bit to get a better fit as they are non-adjustable in the top.

There is some adjustment at the top with the buckle straps and the tabs the strap runs under. Don't know if that will fix your problem but moving the strap out from under the tabs made a big difference for mine.

Great pack. Have retired my Serratus and am loving this one.

Well thought out bag. Loaded it up to about 55lbs, and did about 30km. Sits nicely. Strips down really light, after dumping everything at camp, in order to useful for heading up.

Good choice. I'm very happy with mine.
