ilikerock13 wrote: With the rain on wed, will there likely be flooding in this area on thurs/friday? roberto If it has been otherwise dry and it isn't much rain it shouldn't. Don't quote me on that though. If the rain is forecast to be heavy I wouldn't risk it. You could ask at Desert Rock Sports on Charleston Ave. There are also lots of other places to hit. Most aren't far from the car. Don't bother with Trench Town and Water World as you will probably spend all day looking for it instead of climbing.

' Guess you didn't see the flashflood and mudslide warnings for SoCal. The OP certainly saw them. Considering the area he asked about is in the direct storm path, the question was natural. I'm guessing you've never seen a desert flashflood nor dealt with the aftermath. Maybe you can come out and lend a hand if something bad happens, flesh out your world view. Or don't. It won't stop the rain either way. DMT

Good point. A Zodiac with a 200 horse Merc would be better though. Peace dude, out. DMT

You're right. A Zodiac with an outboard is a way better option. Take care and I hope the weather goes in your favor. '
