That image is so intimidating. guns are scary......SWAT silenced MP5's are really really scary......especially in the hands of a trained indivigual.

I paintball, never heard of airsoft. Ive always thought it would be cool to repel of a cliff where we paintball and just shoot up all my friends. I have a feeling that I'd be the one getting shot though.

Probably, but if you know what your doing in my case, you can totally catch the enemy off guard and kick some trash! The enemy doesn't ever expect you to come through the 3rd story window. heh heh heh Airsoft is a blast, and way better than paintball. The only thing with airsoft is that the owner must be very responsible b/c these guns look real! I've been stopped a couple of times by police and had them draw weapons on me, but I cleared that all up and they thought that it was cool! Anyway, rappelling is fun in its own rights, when there is nothing else to do. spyder

Its just like paintball, but the guns look identical to those of its real steal counter parts, and they shoot a 6mm round and you go around and shoot each other. http://www.wargameclub.com/WGC_Shop/ That is one of many sites that sells airsoft guns. You can see how real they look. spyder

So why does having the guns look real make it any more amusing than normal paintball? I mean, isn't the point still to just shoot the other people? Although the guns do look pretty badass!

Exactly!!!!! Thats the whole reason. They are a heck of a lot accurate than paintball guns, and shoot a lot faster. My gun shoots at 450fps. Its great! Its all to fun to deck out in SWAT gear and go do some CQB! spyder Ah, airsoft, how beautiful.

If your going to get a handgun, get a KSC SIG SP2009-Heavy Weight. That is the gun you want. A USP is nice but all the models that I have seen have had some magazine leakege problems. Most of the guns are made of high impact plastic and have a lot of metal parts on them. You can buy upgrade kits that convert them into all metal guns or you can look at buying all metal in the first place. These guns are very very durable and last a long time if you take care of them. Go to www.airsoftatlanta.com or www.wargameclub.com/WGC_Shop/ or www.airsoftextreme.com Those are all good sites and I recomend them highly! spyder

Playing a cave would be a little too dangerous. You want a heavy weight blow back gun. And if you want a good gun, the price shouldn't matter. Just don't buy a Kuan Ju airsoft gun. They have serious problems with their magazines. If your going to get a pistol, then get it from www.airsoftatlanta.com Thats a good cheap place with many choices. spyder Any more questions just ask me.

spydermonkey... In that picture it doesn't look like you have the rope clipped through the locking biner... that's bad. Maybe I'm seeing it wrong?

First of all, thats not me. Its a member of an airsoft team in Europe, but he is clipped into a locking biner. I for one don't use that rig when I do that. I have a Petzl auto-locking descender that allows for hands free descent, made for an easy aiming and a Petzl ball locking biner for quick disconnect. spyder
