I and my friend are avid BASE jumpers who both have our BASE numbers but this weekend are looking to get our MN BASE numbers and would like to jump Palisade Head but would like some input from any local climbers who could tell us the following:
- Is the ice in at this point good enough to land on
- If not, are there any decent landing areas at the bottom that are not obstructed by large boulders
- How hard would a hike out be and what routes would be best (as we are not advanced climbers)
Any help would be nice.
