Hehe I imagine the stress induced butt scuzz brought on by those high ball problems he puts up would definitely be fragrant.

i admire Lynn hill When I first started climbing I read something she wrote about climbing that I could really relate to and helped me progress. She is shorter than me so it stops me using the height excuse. She does all sorts of climbing just like me I also admire my friend Paul Rogers, he did some really ballsy multi pitch mountain routes back in the day Mega run out bolting on lead...visionary(along with Murray Judge who is awesome too). as well as being alot of fun and supportive cragging and super solid Alpine guide. He makes a mean curry and lamb shanks too

It seems like he really has something against Fred. Graham is an A-hole. Can't wait til his climbing days are over.

I'd have to say John Gill. A visionary in regards to the sport (and seeing lines on rock) and an incredible athlete.

Speaking of leaving a partner and running off, Susan Schwartz notes in her book about Hans Kraus that he was practically left for dead after a rock fall in the 'Gunks. She noted that the climber(s) who left Kraus were or went on to become notable 'Gunks climbers. I don't remember why she left the name out of the book. I can't remember if she left the name out or if he asked her to. Certainly not suggesting it was Barber, but that's an interesting inside story.

Ah - you took down your foul mouth rant - get I'll have to alter mine too - that's the beauty of the Internet - you can always change the e-facts. Nice rant. Any comments you want to make about Yates?
