The climbing around the town of Tafroute is nothing like Joshua Tree . There is some Granite around the town but is of very poor quality . The main climbing is on on the many large crags throughout the Anti-Atlas mountains from about 400' to 1500'. The rock is chocolate colored quartzite ,most of excellent quality. The climbs are all trad ,ranging from about 5.4 to 5.10. There is a guide book to the area by Claude Davies.. Climbing in the Moroccan Anti Atlas. .. www.cicerone.co.uk Best time around mid March.
