I've found a small boulder area where Rt 3 crosses the black river. Its nothing special but I see kayakers here all the time and the walls are decent 20-30 ft (dirty) and there are some boulders. Anyone interested PM and I can meet them there.

are you talking outside of watertown? I have a cottage outside of sackets harbor and will be around throughout the summer. I haven't been climbing long but am very interested.

Yea, its right outside of watertown on the way to the dacks. I've been calling the area the boat house because there's a section where the kayakers play in the hydraulics then put up against the shore at the bottom of the cliff to rest. Theres some 25-30 ft face and crack climbs, and a mess of small boulders. Just PM if you want to meet up there some time. Its nothing special, but something to pull on for this shity rock free area
