I'm headed out to Rocky Gap to do some camping and would like to explore the climbing there as I've never climbed there before. It seems that the route beta is pretty sparse, given Indy's characterization of "There's quite a bit of climbing to be done here." So, besides the 5 routes in Indy's guide and the 4 in the routes section here, would anyone out there like to share their personal beta or tell me another source for good beta? Thanks, Sean

I don't know much more than what's in the online guide at this time. When I was starting to explore Rocky Gap in earnest, I was dragged away to the larger walls of The Narrows. Haven't been back to Rocky Gap since. If I'm going to drive that far, it makes more sense for me to hit up The Narrows than Rocky Gap. That said, before I was dragged away, I saw a fair number of Maryland Average Height rock walls scattered about in the park. Most of these I saw from a distance, across a canyon. Others I had traversed under with plans to return and climb them. But, The Narrows dictated otherwise for me the past 6+ years.

Sean, side note, if you head out to Rocky Gap and do any climbing in the park, I'd love to hear about it.
