there's an old guide book out there: " A Cheap Way to Fly" by Tim Toula describing the Hualapai Wall (gneiss) and the Walnut Creek Wall (granite). Long approach. Both are off the I 40 . Walnut Creek Wall from the Griffith Park exit. across the railroad tracks and about 8 miles of driving. Try Summit Post and just a google search.
