I just drove west on 58 last weekend. You cant go 10 miles down that hwy (between cresent & oakridge) without seeing a cool looking crag, cliff or dome with in a miles worth of hiking/bush whacking from the road. Does anyone know if any of these are established crags, I have no aspirations to establish new routes right now. Can anyone point me to a guide book that may have some of these areas in them, or give me directions to access some of these crags?

Their is a guide book out. The old book was called "Climb Southwest Oregon". You will now find in the three books the cover the Rogue Valley, Willamette and Umpqua. I'm not sure if all the names are right as I have the "Climb Southwest Oregon" book. Just go to one the the climbing shops and they should have it. The book is by Greg Orton and he live in Roseburg.
