Eardley is not a gym, it comprises of over 15 walls in a 5km area of the Gatineau Park.

There is already a section on this area in the Ontario listings Here (witch really should be in the Quebec section).
Also I think Yann knows that this is an outdoor area since he did write the guide book for the area.

Sorry rockaholic,

My error. But just as added info, there is probably more to the escarpement than you know of: the climbing areas are spread over about 35 kms of the escarpment.

So is it a good idea to get the guide book? Does it even mention Top Roping?

The guidebook is definitely worthwhile. Although I don't know if it mentions specifically which climbs can be top-roped. Some areas are better than others for top-roping but almost all have at least a few climbs that should be relatively easy to set up.

k1srfr,

The book doesn't specifically address the top roping potential of every climb or wall, but it points out the most popular ones. As noted by rkclmbr, most areas have a few climbs that can be top-roped.
