My suggestion is to let the forum know what part of the world you live in. Curt

+1 for rock and resole in boulder. They have quick turn arounds, fair prices, and they do great work. I will say that sometimes they aren't the friendliest people in the world, but they won't steal your shoes and your money.

-1 RubberRoom. New rubber started to peel less than a month of climbing after a resole.

I've had good re-sole from both Rubber Room and Rock & Resole. But with what they charge these days just buy a new pair of shoes! Resoles from them are less expensive, but I have never had resoles from anyone last as long as new shoes. It's unfortunate but as far as I am concerned they have priced themselves out of work.

I would use nomad ventures located in joshua tree, california just look online and call them on the telephone. They did a decent job and it didn't take more than a 2 weeks. They are a located in a climbing area and of course they have a reputation to uphold. I believe that they used a Pat Dennis, but they might have other re-solers. I'm sure they have a mail service and return. good luck

I used and have been happy with Rock and Resole for many years, I live in Boulder so they are super easy for me...normally a 3-6 day turnaround.

I used to use Cobbler and Cordwainer and he does very good work but is expensive. I switched to Flyin Brian in Las Vegas (www.climbingresoles.com) and he does exceptionally good work and charges about $35 per pair. one pair he resoled with extra thick rubber lasted me more than 100 climbing days. Also, if your shoe has worn through to the rand, he is willing to patch it with Shoe goo and not charge for a new rand (and even without replacing my rands, the shoes did not delaminate)
