hahahahahaha!!! sorry, not to be rude but that is the wrong part of texas to be a climber in... good luck.. i am sure there are some old buildings in the area that will provide some good buildering.. Notice how East Texas is not listed in regions of texas.. nothing to climb out there..

Arkansas has Sam's Throne and Horseshoe Canyon Ranch for sandstone. Great place mostly for sport and bouldering, yet there is lots of trad at Sam's. Oklahoma Wichita Mountains and Quartz Mountain for granite, mostly a trad locations. Or you can head Southwest to Austin's limestone at the Greenbelt or Reimer's Ranch for sport and/bouldering. A little bit farther to Enchanted Rock outside of Fredericksburg, for trad, some sport, and/or bouldering. These locations all within 7hrs.

Wow that is a tough one, from where you are located i don't know if anything in So Tex is really worth it.. Erock is tough if you've never been, and you could camp the whole weekend but not really feel as tho you had a good trip climbing cuz you'll spend most of it looking for the (good) climbs. So prob dirtbaggin in Austin and climbing at reimers is the best bet.. Unless you go EPC....

Unfortunately, the closest climbing to you is probably Mineral Wells which is about 3 hours away.
