I'm going to Mexico mid Aug to September. I'll be landing at Mexico city, and traveling mostly due east / south.
Where's the best place to go for about 2 weeks of climbing frenzy, providing i'll be going alone and will need to find partners?

I understand that El Portrero Chico is the best place, but it's off-course for me.

Any suggestions?

Mexico City has great climbing. If you are heading east, you can plan your climbing at sport areas. If you vee'rd north you could hit Jilotepec. It is great cobblestone climbing.

Near Puebla is more climbing at Pericos. I have heard good things from my friends but I have yet to visit.

Pericos and Puebla are east of the City
