I was climbing at the Main Wall today with my partner, and there was one other pair present. I was following the first pitch on Witches brew, and the other two guys had just finished main street and were getting down, one of the guys had his backpack with $600 worth of climbing gear stolen. During this one ten minute period where nobody was on the ground, this guy's rack, car keys, and possibly wallet went missing. My partner and I we're luck to have not lost any of our stuff.
I have never heard of theft at Chickies before today. I will never climb there again without traveling light and taking everything with me, or without leaving someone on the ground.
