Hey, I live in Omaha and usually climb at our Silo, in North Dakota, and sometimes Arkansas. I have never really tried Missouri out. I have some friends living in Saint Louis who want me to take them out but I have no idea what is around there. Help?

Where are the best spots in central and eastern MO?

Thanx! =]

Capen park is more the "easy access crag" if you're looking for sport routes, scheuler ferry is definitely the place to go. other areas of interest would be sport climbing at Providence & Wilton, & earthquake hollow for bouldering. the access at earthquake hollow is touch and go however.

If you get the chance, pick up 'Missouri Limestone Select'. It's definitely worth it to get some info on the crags around here.

If you go to Wilton bring a rack and the climbing options will increase.
