Overwhelming locals support climbing at the Smokey Hollow rocks. Apparently it has been used by the locals for a long time for purposes other than climbing. After talking with quite a few of them, they all say to go for it with no worries about prosecution. So we will be climbing there. Full legal access has yet to be determined. Continue climbing at your own risk.

Congrats. Seems like you've been working hard to try and get this place open to climbing. Enjoy your success, and good luck figuring out the legal situation!

If you notice my placement of words you might see that the locals are overwhelming. There aren't really an overwhelming number of locals or an overwhelming support for climbing here, but they certainly are interesting folks. And the ones we have met have told us to help ourselves, and that there been open access for as long as they can remember. I will be getting more photos and information up soon.
