Dude! Save your money. You seriously need to learn about their culture. Seriously. Ninjas are not thought very highly of in Japan. Samurai are. Do some research. Being a warrior is something you can achieve with out a dilly assed costume that will make you look like a dumbass. I know more of this than most Americans, but of course have some hole in my knowledge. Do some reading up and studying first.

Your act will most likely insult her and once that is done you have lost. Be more subtle and learn a few words and phrases. Do some reading about Japanese culture and ask her questions about it.

Lessons learned: 1- Never climb on limestone while wearing a shoddy costume. 2- It can be very hard to tell a Japanese person from a South Korean before you talk to them. 3- There are no ninjas in Korea (North or South) 4- Ninja costume is an effective ice breaker! 5- No success is sweeter than success that is horribly undeserved.
