Hello,
I am staying at Kyoto in the next few days. I thought of going on an outdoors bouldering session on September 26th. In http://www.rockclimbing.com/...s/Asia/Japan/Kansai/ I found two bouldering sites which seem to be very nice: Kasagi boulder area and Kitayama koen.
1. Do you know if there is anyway around Kyoto to hire a bouldering mat for a day? If so, what is the cost?
2. Can you think of a good place to look for local partners?
3. Please let me know if you have other suggestions for outdoor bouldering options around Kyoto.
