I know there's an "Introduce yourself" thread, but I'm too busy to read it all. I thought it might be fun for some of us ladies from AZ to meet each other. I've just been enjoying reading and posting to all your topics, I thought it might be fun to get together and climb sometime. So...

What part of AZ are you from? (I'm in Flagstaff)

What kind of climbing do you like to do? (I like it all.)

Do you want to get together and climb sometime?
(You know my answer!)

Add anything else you'd like to.

I'm an AZ climber --

Live in Mesa; like to boulder, sport climb, trad climb, and even a little adventure climbing. I like crack climbing, face climbing, slab climbing... traverses, overhangs, aretes... lead climbing, toproping...

Let's climb! Saturdays are best for me... and I have a free week coming up (SPRING BREAK Mar 17-21... gotta love teaching).

Well, Howdy!

I'm from N. Scottsdale and I've climbed with most of the AZ people on this site (including Shelly!). I prefer bouldering and sport and LOOOOVE face and overhangs. Limestone and volcanic are my favs, but I love it all

I climb indoors (altermating months with Climbmax and PRG) weekday evenings and at least one day outdoors every weekend.

I've climb often at Queen Creek, The Pit, Priest Draw, Granite Dells, Jacks Canyon, and Mt.Lemmon in AZ and frequently do weekend trips to J-Tree and other awesome So. Cal locales (New Jack City, Malibu Creek, Williamson).

I have a really friendly, kick-butt group that I climb with now and we always welcome anyone that wants to climb with us!

Climbing at Climbmax tonight and Queen Creek on Saturday if you'd like to join us Aimee!

Hi Aimee! I like your photo album! Power to the short AZ chix (5'3 still counts, right? )

I am in Tucson, kinda-sorta going to the UofA. I like vert best but will climb rock of any orientation. Limestone, volcanic metamorphic mystery rock, sandstone, granite (chickenheads are fun!). Edging, highsteps, crimps, sidepulls, drop knees, twist-locks, yah yah yah. Single-pitch primarily, but multi-pitch if I'm on top of my wimpy vertigo; I'm lazy and may whine on approaches if they're more than 20 minutes long, but just thwack me with a Nalgene bottle and I'll shut up

I can lead sport, would like to lead trad, would even boulder more had I any partners who seemed remotely interested My local haunts include Lemmon, Milagrosa, Cochise, and Jacks when it's warm enough (whatever the naysayers may think ); my typical road trip destinations include Josh, Red Rocks, and various SoCal sport crags, *especially* New Jack City (I'm a dual-citizen of AZ/CA, methinks )

I'll climb with boys, girls, old people, young people, dogs, just as long as everybody's cool (which is, of course, a relative term) Bring the fam down to Tucson and I'll give you the friendly beta (hint: Mt. Lemmon pie shop is key!). I see you boulder lots. Have you sampled the Gates Pass boulders? If you haven't been there, it's a really superb Sonoran setting, the scenery is the best! And even wee V1 hotties like myself can have a good time!

AZ chickies rule C'mon, we know it

Hello ladies!
I live in Phoenix. I climb at Climbmax about one day a week, and try to get out at least two more. I boulder and can lead sport, and I went on my first trad climb just two weeks ago. I'll try anything once, twice if it makes me bleed
I drool at the very sight of an overhang or roof. I did my first handcrack recently and may have found a second love.
I would love to get together with the other AZ ladies to climb.

hey! I know erica (I think)
I live in Tempe right now. I am finishing my PhD so I can most often be found at boldering.com. (Is that a dirty word around here?) But I am excited to see a ladies forum here, so I may be back more. I mostly boulder. I can lead climb, but I don't like it much. I only go to Climbmax, on Tuesdays and Thursdays right now. So if you see me, say hi. I have brown hair with gray streaks and I am sort of tall.

Oh, yeah, and I will be moving to Tucson this summer so if anyone around there wants to make a new friend, I would be so happy
