http://www.fototime.com/...ddt=37680.1133019097 It's my pup's birthday, but I don't think she understood why the hotdog was on fire. Oh well. Yes, I know I am a geek, but I'm certain there are other people out there who have gotten a holiday or birthday gift for the damm dog. (And no, Gert doesn't wear sweaters or get her nails painted... sheesh... she's a DOG, and a mountain one, nonetheless). Just thought I'd share the moment (please feel free to poke fun @ me!) cheers, -kelly.

a- Ha! Nope, she's not into aid, although she's a damn good boulderer. Gert tends to hang out at base camp, or chase the occasional squirrel. I've got to keep an eye on her at Joshua Tree, though. Those coyotes are tricky. Her hotdog fed belly would be some good eatin' for wylie coyote and his buds.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing...spooked by fire is she? Our dogs get new toys or chewies for their birthdays. The younger one has about 4 stuffed animals that she alternates between...all birthday presents. :)

wee hee! what a cute dog! man i love poochies, haha, and what a great look to the candles. yes, coyotes are a tricky breed. just the other night, i let my dog out and i heard him barking frantically, i opened the door to call him in, and, gadzooks, there was a coyote sitting about 10 feet away observing the cocker spaniel meatness
