Yeah, me! Road biking right now, but mountain biking again pretty soon. I climb outside on the weekends, ride during the week at lunch, climb in the gym at night. Sometimes do long rides on the weekends instead of climbing, depending on weather. Relationship: climbing doesn't affect cycling but a hard cycling workout can ruin my climbing for a day or two. However.... the biking sure does keep me in better shape for the approaches and aerobic - fast and easy - pitches. And I think I have noticed that my pump-recovery is better when I'm in better aerobic shape. And of course, any possible weight loss doesn't hurt.

I started bicycling [touring] this last fall and really enjoy it. I plan on eventually buying a mountain bike. It's all part of the outdoor scheme.

Yup - road, XC, & DH biking. And climbing, of course. I'm finding that climbing works on isometric strength and flexibility, while riding works on cardio. Both work on lactic acid threshholds and recovery. Offroad biking is excellent for balance, which happens to be very important in climbing. Both are excellent for developing focus, especially if what you're riding is technical. Just my $0.02. T

Sadly, you can only "burn" someone if the general populace 1) understands what the hell you're saying, and 2) gives a damn. You lose, monkey-boy. Now - please, come back with something obscure and stupid that you think sounds clever. It's quite entertaining to watch you flail miserably. Tai

OK HERE WE GO. I can could use proper grammar if I wanted. For the sake of amusement, I choose not to. You are obviously backpedaling. I see you reverting to niceporch tactics of argument. You know that I am way better at mountain biking than you. Here is a hanky, wipe your tears and FUCKOFF.

BWAHAHAHAHA! Egads, the beast speaks! Alert the mayor! I can't help it. I just can't stop laughing. Obviously backpedaling? I think not. Way better than I at MTBing? *shrug* Anything is possible, including wormhole travel and the imminent development of a perpetual motion machine. Do I care? Let me think... After considerable contemplation, I've come to the conclusion that there is little else that I could care about less. Niceporch tactics of argument? I fail to see any tactics at all, aside perhaps from mass hysteria. Now - when you engage in kiddie porn, do you limit yourself to the same sex or are you an equal opportunity sicko? Tai
