That's the yearly NPS pass that will get you into any NPS park. Yosemite is $20 per visit otherwise. If you plan on going to any NPS park more than 2 or 3 times per year, the pass pays for itself. Also, for an extra $15 the pass will be good for all BLM parks as well.

Hey Simz !!!

Don't order it, it is good for a year from the date of purchase. Just wait until you actually need it, then buy it. You can get it at the entrance to Yosemite. Oh, and uh... the entrance stations are not staffed at night. You just drive on through... and there's no penalty, if you have to buy it on the way out.

Cheers

Oh spoken like a true Valley girl
WRONG

Go ahead, Order it or buy it in advance. It is good for a year, but the year doesn't start until you use it for the first time and it gets punched. Also, if you buy it at REI (I know I hate them but keep listening) last year they had it for $10 off. So, that was a good deal.

Like Oh My God, I am like SO WRONG!!! Gag me with a big wall spoon!

Haaa hahahah!

Thanks for the info Holly, I always buy mine at the entrance station, so it appears that they are good for a year from date of purchase.

:)
