What is this thing doing on this site ?

Slackliners argue that this activity helps with the equilibrium. So why not put forums about :
- weightlifting (helps you develop strengh)
- driving (helps you get to the crag)
- professionnal success (helps you buy the gear, so expensive)

and other closely climbing related activities?

because it is almost strictly a climbing hobby.

Many other people weightlift to gain strength, but not too many people outside of the climbing community slackline. Also it is fun. The help in my balance is just a bonus, I do it cause it is a good (cheap) way to pass the time.

Maybe they just started the forum so people like you could whine about it.... you never know
