It's a beautiful day in the nieghborhood kids!!! I just found out yesterday that I may have a chance to retire now that I have 30 years service and I'm 50 years young!!!! Now I just need a layoff so they can eliminate my job and it's Fucking Colorado here I come!!!!!

morning all... woah, the weekend is almost here. I leave tomorrow at Noon to head down towards NC... then Sunday Mike should be waiting for us! It's unreal to me still - this is the day I've been waiting for for 6 months now and it's almost here....
last night was 'clean the car out' night - thing looks like new after about 2 hard hours of working on it!
tonight is 'pack for dog and Abi' night - get the car ready to go, clean my room, pack everything I can possibly think of needing while in NC...
guess I can leave the vibrator at home!!! YAHOO!!!!! ;) :lol:

Work?? whats work. I knew it once upon a time (USNS Comfort) but now I am sitting in this place called an office and I think we do work, but I just don't see it. was that a complaint? somebody slap me.
ok, so where are people climbing this weekend. I was suppose to go to seneca this weekend and meet up with anne and other peeps to climb but she has bailed so now I don't know what to do. I know I want to go climbing but where? any suggestions must require a 2-4 hour drive from Bethesda.
I will take a carmel mocchiato.

Company picnic today; sadly, it's pouring, and we're still expected to show up to the bosses upstate farm so that he can pretend to show his appreciation to us all for making him filthy rich by serving us overcooked hamburgers under a really big tent. *sigh* I'd rather have a raise.

So I've forgotten my ID badge, and I forgot to put in my contacts (I'm wearing my glasses) and I forgot a hairband, so I'm looking like a haystack. On the up side, I remembered to pack a change of clothes into my climbing gear in case I can climb this afternoon...but I've forgotten everything else of note this morning. grr.

Good Morning!
I can't wait until tommorow. At 0500hrs I leave for 3 weeks in Canada. I will be visiting family, but also climbing so much my fingers will wear down to nubs. It is going to be so much fun. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I'm out again for climbing tonight - life is spinning out of control! Sorry girl, I've still got to pack, get a gift for Mike, and get the dog situated before noon tomorrow - AHHHHH! Climbing, although very soothing to me most days - will only make me more stressed because I'll be thinking about everything I have to get done the whole time.
Maybe sometime next week, though, should life slow down any! ;)

erica, darling...i spoke to dave last night...(dave martin) he and eric will be meeting you at the princess snowbird on friday night
dave aka jerrygarcia (i know his last name, just cant think of it right now), gretchen and a friend of theirs from ohio will be hooking up with yall as well...
be prepared to go caving...jerrygarcia is a local expert and the caverns near seneca are GREAT!!!
you'll need your headlamp and a couple flashlights/candles

I finally got to bed around 2:00am.
Forgot to set the alarm, so I was almost late for work.
