I'm looking for info on sizing Boreal Stingers... i've heard everything from sizing them with your exact street shoe size to going 1.5 sizes less than your normal size... i'd like input from anyone who owns these shoes... thanks, -brad

I don't know if it's translatable, but the Ninjas are perfect (after stretching out) at 1/2 a size smaller than street shoe. But I got wide feet, so it's highly dependent on a lot of variables.

In reply to: I'm looking for info on sizing Boreal Stingers... i've heard everything from sizing them with your exact street shoe size to going 1.5 sizes less than your normal size... i'd like input from anyone who owns these shoes... thanks, -brad I wear mine a half size larger than my street shoe size, oddly. And they still hurt after 10-15 minutes of wearing them. This'll probably put a kink in your research, but I tried going a half size smaller when I was trying them on and I could BARELY get them on. My feet must be funny shaped or something. What ever the case is, I've been quite stoked with them for the last 2 years and have resoled them once. It sounds like you are trying to mail order them....? But I strongly suggest going to the dang store and trying them on. Hope it helps.

I wear a 13 street shoe, sometimes 12.5 if they are wide enough for my paddle feet, and a UK11 (US12) in my Stingers. I could have gone smaller but I still wanted to be able to fit them into cracks. Make sure if you are mailordering that they will do exchanges, but 1/2 off on the boreal site is pretty darn good.....

I wear a street shoe size 10.5-11; I have the Stingers US11.5/UK10.5. After fairly hard gym use and a few over (ie into) water falls, they fit about perfectly. Slight big-toe corner pain until I find the sweet spot...
