Hey There,

I heard recently that Boreal was planning on discontinuing sales of their shoes to the US market. Does anyone know if it's true or not?

I've seen all sorts of "closeouts" on their stuff lately and even their site has 50% off.

Ditto that. Over priced and the worst rubber in the industry.

I for one will miss them... their shoes are the most comfortable i've ever worn... i do agree about the rubber, but once they're resoled they kick patootie... but all you Boreal faithfulls need not worry... i believe you'll still be able to order them from forign merchents...

Of course, as with many rumors, this one is false. Boreal has a new distributor and some very nice new models coming next season.

How times change: they use to be the best. Fire sticky rubber was almost so good people didn't belive it. Beat the EBs all to hell - which beat the previous winners like Kronhauffers, varappes and rps all to hell.

Kind of makes you appreciate some of the FA the old timers like Gill, Robbins, Chouinard etc etc use to crank out.

Bill
