I live in D-town. Right now things are getting colder by the day, so the climbing is dwindling. But, on a sunny day Golf Wall is always good (after 12 o'clock). East A is probably alright in the sun. And there is always bouldering. I went bouldering the other day and it was an great session; perfect for working those hard slopey probs. But you should really go to the Creek; it's the best climbing in Durango.

Using this website you can find some info on climbing around here. Go to Routes/Colorado/Southwest/Durango (something like that). There is a guidebook called Durango Sandstone (it also has Golfwall, which is limestone and your best bet for climbing now).

"colorado ice" has some info on ice climbing in those areas. i haven't looked at it in much detail yet, though; i just made photocopies of the areas i am interested in for future use from the copy of the guide i found in the library.
