I seem to have it in my head that all those oils you get in fishes are good for that sort of thing.

Cod liver oil helps arthritis, but that's the cartilage at joints and not the tendons. Sleep and rest probably play a larger role than a special diet in recovery.

I always say, never start climbing too hard before warming ur tendons up. It works for me, and slowly you will be able to strengthen ur tendons. But I do agree, it would be nice to follow a diet as well.

and how do you warm your tendons ? stretching isn't good until your tendons are warm aswell =O_o= i see people making this tiger move with their fingers... they open and close their hand very fast...its a good way to warm them up... i guess

frobably if you ate some animal tendons you would get some more "correct" tendon food. but its probably not worth the bother.

I don't believe there is any food/vitamin/mineral that on its own will increase tendon strength. However as previously stated protein will help your tendons (and muscles) heal faster after a good workout. Just remember it is during your recovery time that your tendons and muscles get stronger. If you climb every day and don't give your body time to recover you will become weaker eventually. Do a thorough warm up, keep hydrated, and allow yourself at least one day of rest between strenuous climbing work outs your tendon will get stronger. Good luck.

Well protein certainly assists in the recovery of muscles, and most likely tendons also however there are lots of diff proteins, amino acids etc like BCAA any ideas for when and what and how much?
