I think I finally got it. i'm dying to get out today and check but it's too late!!! Nah-Nah to everybody who is too lazy to do some looking. Why not have keep the directions secret? I think making others do the footwork to find out about an area makes them appreciate what you did originally to find it. And it keeps the area from the peeps who are least likely to appreciate it once they find it. rwaltermyer is way on target about PA rock. It takes time to find stuff here but there are loads of peeps who want to climb a little stuff. It's important to be a bit selective about what you show to whom. Anyhow, maybe it's just PA character, why should we be anything but what we are?

Isn't it about time that you gave people a hint about where the boulders are at, like along the Lehigh River, not too far from 4th Street, and visable from Keck (sp?) Park at the termination of Carlisle Street, on the other side of the Lehigh. BTW, the visability is best when there is snow on the ground. Take note that I did not give away the exact location, so don't get mad locals. This is information based on memory from when I found the boulders back in the mid 80's. If you want the name of the street, think of a famous patriot.

As a result, we have the most stringent property rights activistics that you'll find. Everything is either private property or pay to climb (Gunks, anyone?!). Its cut-throat for sure. Its PA.

yeah...not sure why keith did it that way... it MAY be because those ratings were inputted before we were capable of using the V-rating system in the Dbase...believe or not.
