I am looking for a good guide service/outfitter that operates out of the Lake. I work at a outdoor store on the UW-Oshkosh campus, and i am attempting to plan a trip to the lake for the students. My boss is insisting that we go through an outfitter and guide service to alleviate some of the liability risks. Does anyone know of a particularly good one? Last year we went through Dairylad Expeditions, but, as i am sure that many of you are aware, they are no longer in the buisness. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've taken my school's club to Devils Lake using Vertical Endeavors out of Warrenville Illinois. The guy's are super nice and friendly and know the area well.

Dairyland Expeditions is no longer operating out of Wheelers Campground. They were a great outfit, took a class from them last year.

Give Eric a call at Adventure Rock (262-790-6800), let 'em know Brad told you to give him a call (I'm one of their guides). Anyway, "we" already guide classes at the lake for University Wisconsin Milwaukee. So, might have a better idea of what you need. Either way, Eric will be able to answer any questions you might have. Otherwise, feel free to ask here and I'll answer what I can..

Dairyland is no longer in existance, Paul decided that 24 years of guiding was enough and sold the business. Nick, call me I might be able to help you out. Or call AR for sure.
