Adam, this is done as an aid route 99.99% of the time. I' moving it back to the aid forum. The first free ascent places a bunch of bolts, many of which were later chopped.

Never done it, but have fun on the approach - it looks heinous.

The current issue of Climbing(#212) has an article on this route, complete with a few pictures and a topo. Hope this helps.

Yeah, about the approach, we climbed on Brownstone Wall, and it took about 1.5 hours. You are climbing over boulders that are like 6-8 feet tall sometimes in a gully. Not too bad with a trad rack, but with the pig, I'm sure it will take quite a while.

TRADitionally yours,

The new book "50 Favorites" has a description of the route and a decent topo. Although I am finding that the topos in that book suck. There is also some good information at Tradgirl.com.
I have heard that the approach can take anywhere from 3 to 8 hours.
