how can you describe this feeling before climbing...when you are watching the rock that are you going to climb....i sometimes feel like having the firrst date with a girl my legs are shaking my heart is beating and i am geting full of srange feelings...
how do you thing some minutes before you climb watcing the stone wearing your shoes and doing the warm up???

I think about the ceilling in the 16th chappel and the picture of adam and God reaching out to each other. Then I look at the rock and reach my hand out to it and get the feeling that God is reach from the other side.

It depends on the route for me.
If I am getting in way over my head I feel like I want to puke! But right before I get on it I breathe, focus, and relax. Have'nt ever puked though!
If I jump on a long free route I ussually get excited and get really focused. It's cool because its more adventureous than short routes. And I am unsure about areas but say heck with it lets go and see what its all about.
Thats all I have to say at this time.

I always have that feeling you get when she says yes for the first time and you know you're going to get it for the first time,cept certain parts aren't hard.

Before I climb I am always totally stoked. If I am not 100% pumped and ready to climb, then I know that I am not going to have a good day of climbing.
