I went out on real rock for the first time today. My partner and I went out to Val David and TR'ed 5.5-5.7. I'll add the routes/sections as soon as I fugure out how to do that.
Climbing real rock was great.. NOW I get why you all hate gyms so much.
Now on to the question..
There were a lot of annoying little bugs out. Not mosquitoes as I didn't get bit at all. But little fly-like devils that ran into the ears, under the helmet and well, I must say I must have swalloed/spit out a few of those...
Is there something i can so to make myself less appealing to the swarm of flies? I didn't use mosquito repellent, Easy-OFF type thing, would it have helped even if they weren't mosquitoes? Do i need to change diet? Eating a certain type of foods less/more? What do you guys do?
I shower everyday with soap... I had clean clothes when I started..
Maybe bugs is something I'll have to live with and accept.. But I hate eating them when I don't have to.
