I am going to be in Tuolumne on the memorial day weekend. I was wondering if any of the campgrounds nearby are open. The Tuolumne Meadows camground itself seems to be closed, but how about the ones right outside Tioga pass towards Lee Vining? Anybody been there recently?

I believe all the tuolume camp sites are opening this weekend. 2 of the campgrounds leading up to tuolume were open this past weekend but the road to saddlebag is still closed.
This area is 20 min from lee vining and FREE. You can camp right in front of the crags and do some night climbing.
