That sounds like a good plan. I'm going to invest in some as soon as I have extra cash (which could be awhile) and probably double up on the smaller sizes too, they seem to be the most useful. I took my first lead fall on the brown one, in fact I fell on it twice. But I only climb rock so don't know what your alpine needs would be. :wink:
