In reply to: Dousing my Cadillac with gasoline and dancing on top of it while it burned to the music of the phychedelic Furs was a pretty good trick.Dont try it at home kids. you left out the fact that as the flames danced, you were wrapped guru-style in a white sheet, wandering calmly amongst the flames. good times.

It wasnt a sheet. It was an ankle length down coat bought in Palm Springs for a buck.

Alright a mantle start. What you do is put both hands on the line and let your arms hold you up. Its a lot like comeing out of a pool from the deep end you pushing yourself out. Its the same thing on the line. just pushing up and puting you feet on the and standing up. Cool.

Well, I did a run and jump on the line start then walked a bit and took off all my cloths. (save my underwear) And then I finished by walking the rest of the line.

the back flip dismount is the wildest trick that i can pull. and for all of you that are thinking about doing it you give it a try. i would suggest throwing it from the end of the line with your feet perpendicular to the line and just go for it. jynckx the backflip, in my opinion, is way easier then a front flip bc can spot your landing and on a front flip you are landing blind. next trick what i want to learn is a line-to-line back flip. As in start on the line backflip and land on the line. has this ever been done and does anyone have any tips

In reply to: Cross step. Stand surfer and cross foot over foot. Is there a cool name for this? The slacker term for this trick is "Sidewaze". Can you do it both directions? Nice job, this is a huge Slackline skill that makes you a better slacker in many different ways.

Never knew I was doing something special! :D Kinda cool... Now my best trick is a front flip 180 dismount. Still working myself up to the backflip.

I actually built up the balls to try a front flip on the line. I went straight up and came straight down, but barely missed my feet and landed on the line sitting straight up on the back of my legs, and then it made me do a back flip from there, and landed on the ground. I don't think i'll ever try it again, from now on just the front flip dismount.

I have tried a couple 180s, but they didn't really work out. I like doing yoga on the line, and some positions are harder than they might seem.
