What's up Boys and Girls... Gruss Gott, I'm in Vienna for the summer, and have access to a car. What great climbing oppurtunities are there around the area? Right now trad is out of my league, so I'm climbing sport. Cheers, und vielen dank. Nik

The Wachau is one hour away from vienna and you can find there lots of climbing opportunities. just look at my website www.wachauclimbing.net

I would also recommend Wachau or if you want to drive for at least one and a half hour u can come and climb in Rastenfeld, which is between Krems and Zwettl (Waldviertel) If you want to have more info bout that, just pm! I also heard of Peilstein or Stadlwand,... but better contact someone from vienna to get more info bout that. hope i could help!!!! Und viel Spaß beim Klettern! :-)
