Can anyone tell me what the majority of the anchors are like at Shelf Road? As I understand it, most of the routes are bolted, but some trad and some bolts on trad lines. I'm going to buy a guide book before I go, but if I need to buy some extra gear to leave a rappel station or something, it would be nice to know. Am I looking at mostly cold shuts?Chains? Just bolt hangers? Also, if anybody knows, what's the best area at shelf for easier sport climbs? Cactus Cliffs, or somewhere I haven't heard of yet? Thanksfor the help.
