Hey, I'm heading up to Williamson Rock for the first time this weekend. Was just wondering if anyone had some good pointers on campsites, favorate routes...odd tidbits to share. Thanks!

hehe...don't go! its a choss pile ;)

But if you do, go early because it becomes a gym. Climb early and late and leave the noon time for relaxing and lunch. Do the 5-star 5.7 "Being There", the exposure is great. Go up for less crowds...and PM tripperjm if you have any questions. He put up routes there and knows it well. Cheers and have fun. This is the first weekend I won't be there in a long time...going to Holcomb!

You can camp in the parking lot, a lot of the locals do, no open fires. You can also camp at Buckhorn campground for a small fee, a couple of miles west of the crag. If you camp in the campground watch out for the bears.
