There's a new bolted sport route up the face between the Skyline Pinnacle route and Beautiful. It starts easy and gets progressively more difficult past the last few bolts where it steepens and finishes with some fun, relatively steep face climbing. Grade is around 5.7 and 8 bolts line the way to rap rings at the top. It's a fun, easy, well-protected climb and should help provide more options when the area is crowded. Apparently there's some ill sentiment about the new bolts by a few people, but hopefully they'll stay. ~Adam~

C.H. put this up over 4th of July weekend; he said he wanted to do something that anyone with a rack of draws could do safely. The bolt spacing is extraordinarily close but FA makes the call. Great route for a new leader. More experienced climbers can skip every other clip and lessen the rope drag. It is a great route but definitely gets reachy just before the ledge. Bring 1" gear and go under and up to Skyline Pinnacle for a fun finish. BTW - The new name is "Mission Control." -s

is this one listed in the current SDCC files. I have a partner who is a new lead climber, well trying to be. Any other beta on the area would be great

Mission Control is just to the right of Skyline Pinnacle and ends at the same block perched above the route. Should be clearly visible as you walk up to Lunch Rock; bolts down low, bolts up high, lots of bolts... -s
