If I go to bed too soon after being at the gym, I lay awake for hours, half asleep, subconsciously thinking of climbing these endless, twisted, MC Escher-esqe routes. No matter how hard I try to concentrate on something else, as soon as I start drifting off, I'm back on these crazy climbs.
Probably my subconscious telling me I'm wasting time in the gym, need to get outside.

i havent really had any crazy climbing dreams, but i used to have some pretty hardcore skydiving dreams, where i'd have double mal's and hit the ground and climb out of the crater and dust myself off and find another rig to jump. :lol: i did have a cool bouldering dream the other night though, but it wasnt anything exciting or realistic. i suck ass at bouldering. :x

A couple of weeks ago I dreamt I was all out of pro, so I placed my atc like a chock, clipped it and kept going. It was bomber.
Only climbing dream I've ever remembered.

no shit...I had a very similar dream. It was more along the lines of a girlfriend making me choose between her and climbing. I was so F'in angry when I woke up it was scary.

I've had nightmares before about climbing in the mountains, and seeing all my friends get hurt because of my mistakes. Only climbing dreams I can ever remember (but I have very few dreams I remember, full stop).
