These guys are the BEST in the online gear business. Period. I see a thread nearly every month just like this one, and have often posted about my own "beyond the call of duty" customer service experience I get from these guys every time I order. Thanks again, Mark & Tom! Ed

It's pretty simple -- they're a small operation who provides excellent service to their customers. I have been astounded by the extents to which these guys go beyond the call of duty, and I purchase stuff from them whenever they have what I need. My experiences match everyone else's -- GearExpress offers great prices on a wide selection of products, and backs it up with the best customer service I have encountered. If they had more physical points of distribution, REI would be in trouble ;-)

Not that my story is much different, but here it is: I ordered a set of draws last year, and got them no problem. Super good prices, free shipping, anything a guy could ask for. And yes, even the sticker. But here's the kicker: I stopped in at their warehouse when I was passing through back to michigan this august, and they were super nice and real friendly, they let me browse around and drool over stuff, and then they let me pick up some free back issues of Climbing and R&I, as well as a handful of stickers. (why do I like stickers so much??) anyway, they were excellent, and here's the real kicker: I forget the guy's name...but he said the next time I order, drop them an email, and he would knock some money off my order. How can you beat THAT for friendly, superb service?

Though I've only ordered from them a few times, I've been very satisfied every time. Good gear, fast, and good prices. If I didn't enjoy the camaradarie of a local climbing shop so much, I'd buy all my gear from this web vendor.

i just wanted to let everyone know that reads this forum that i sent the link to Gear Express' "contact" email. hopefully they will get a kick out of it! and as for me they have always sent my stuff promptly and quality is great. the only thing wrong that i have was the color of my rope bag (I actually like the color that they sent me better now that i saw someone else with the color i ordered, which doesn't look as good) GEAR EXPRESS ROCKS!!!

Just looking at the rope prices and some slings and based on the exeptional compliments posted here - I'm going to buy from them. I operate on the one dollar one vote theory and this compay should get my vote! Thanks for the info everyone!
