I just won an auction on ebay for a pair of Reebok rock shoes, like 20 bucks, so I'll stop tearing up my good shoes when I train/boulder. I looked everwhere on the web for a review for the shoes!!! But I just couldnt find one. Does anyone out there know anything about these shoes, they are unisex and mostly brown, I think there leather, and they are lace ups. I havent got them yet, but I hope they dont suck too bad. Any info would be great, thanks.

For a short period in the late 80's early 90's, yes Reebok made some climbing shoes. Some pros wore 'em, and you will occasionally see a photo of soemone famous in them. According to a shoe guru friend of mine who is a resoler near Fresno, California, the shoes were pretty good as far as quality. As far as fit for you, I have no idea. But hey, you got some shoes for $20. Blur

I've been very impressed with my pair. They are lace-ups and are leather. If they are newer, they'll have a tendancy to turn your toes a slightly brownish-orange color. They tend to run a little small, so be forewarned. The rubber is fairly firm though, so you'll get longer life than absolute traction. coylec
