Generally how late in the season is it comfortable to climb the Red River Gorge? I'm dreaming up a weekend trip here sometime soon, and I just would like to know how late it could feasibly happen.

I love this question. The Red (RRG) is climbable year round. In the summer you chase the shade, the winter you chase the sun. There will be fewer crowds the deeper into winter you come. So seek out the south facing climbs and you will be ok.

Miguel's usually stays open until somewhere between the middle of Nov. and Thanksgiving. Depending on the winter it is still climbable for diehards for at least another month, maybe longer. You should go, the place rocks and the food is great.
