I did what aulwes did, but better! I got Forest to sew a short sling under half the size of the original for aid then sewed a double sling round' it. The whole thing is only about two inches longer when not doubled! I put them like this on my two newer micro-camalots, works great! I am sure Forest would do this again if you ask (although this was several years ago). I also imagine Yates or someone would do this too, it’s easy enough.

Nice job on the tiny primary sling for short clip in for aiding.

And then you have a 48-inch runner sewn through this tiny primary sling? Or do you have a 24-inch loop as the secondary sling?

david yount.

Well, I don’t have a camera so let me try to clarify. The primary sling is 3 inches (from end to end) made of 18mm dynema; a 12 inch sling is then doubled trough that. The whole thing is 9 inches short and 15 inches long. I found however that racking on the short loop caused the long sling to get tangled easily, so I just rack on the long one. Hope this helps.
