Pay off half the rack of aliens and C4s I just bought.
In reply to: i'd consider puting my 500 in for that :) (is there someone out there monitoring this?) And yes. I do work for the FBI. The nice men in black coats are on their way now.

$500? I'd put it in the bank and save it for a rainy day.... no, wait, like hell I would, I'd buy an O and then use the rest for supplies and gas on a road trip (go to the local little debbie store and buy a bunch a $1/box hydrogenated goodness). Now that I think about it, an O is supplies for a road trip...

I'm thinking sky diving lessons for dubya would be about right for 500. "Look ma, no chute! It's hard work, I seen it on TV".

Justify taking a couple days off work (where I wouldn't get paid, new job and no vacation pay yet) and head down to Kentucky to climb for a long weekend.

In reply to: $500 is enough for a bottle of 25 year old Macallan and a bottle of 25 year old Glenfarclas. 8^) Curt Side story on this one... I'm visiting my father one holiday and I'm searching for oil in one of his cupboards (for a cake or something) and Waaaaayyy in the back I spot a bottle that looks familiar - only not quite... Pull it out and lo and behold, a 25 yr old fine oak bottle UNOPENED. "Hey Dad?!? Do you know what you have back in here?" "Hmmm? Oh yeah, I got that from the Bank of Ireland a while back - I don't like scotch so I just put it away...." Me - Silence Dad - "You can have it if you want...." Me - Silence and then a quiet blessing "Cool - hey thanks dad, dinner's on me next time" $500? Like vegastradguy said - "That's it?" Anayway.... Another set of offset aliens Set of HB offsets plane ticket to NH again this fall

I'd piss it away the same as all my other money. On principle I try to convert $ to FUN, but it isn't always possible. You know, $500 used to be something. But you cannot even buy a decent starter kit for most adrenline sports as practiced these days. A sport climbing or bouldering rig is about as cheap as it gets, but with 150 for shoes and up to 200 for a pad or rope, $20 for a chalk bag, $10 for the chalk, $23.99 for a logo beanie at REI, some cool clothes from Abercrombe will set you back a couple C's, and then the kicker $739 for a tank of gas in the Caddy SUV, well,, hehe, even bouldering is plus 500 these days. Just think, $500 bucks isn't enough to go bouldering. DMT
