I have a good sized dog: 90 lbs-ish...and in my search for a great new tent I was wondering if there were any that ya'll would recomend with larger vestibules for Fido to sleep in. I'm not a fan of dogs actually in the tent. He's normally an outdoor dog, so it would only be needed if the weather turned really fierce. Just looking for some suggestions. Thanks!

If you want a big vestibule, I would recommend looking into the Hilleberg Keron GT, Nammatj or Nallo GT. These 4 season tents offer huge vestibules (25-30 sq. ft.) to store your gear and enough room to keep your dog happy. A less expensive alternative would be the Exped Andromeda. I'm surprised that americans haven't discovered the benefits of tunnel tents. Huge space to weight ratio of 8 to 10 square feet per pound for tunnel type tents as compared with 4 to 6 square feet per pound for dome type tents.

campmor sells tents with vestibules and their catalog does a pretty good job of describing them all. You just need to figure out what type(backpacking or pulling 10 feet from the car).

A 90 lb. dog's entitled to his own tent. And he can carry it in. Wouldn't have it any other way. If I were him, I wouldn't put up with a measley vestibule. A Bibler "Bomb Shelter" would be about right. A big dog needs a big tent. 8^)
